Chalk, ink and wash on laid paper mounted on paper, collector's mark lower left (Lugt 533a). 9 3/4 x 6 in. (sheet), 18 x 13 1/2 in. (frame). Note: According to previous cataloguing, this drawing is probably related to a series of twelve engravings printed by the artist's sons in 1649-50 after their father's drawings. The set of twelve prints depicted the prelates of Utrecht. Provenance: C.E. Duits (L. 533a); Sold Christie's, NY, January 30, 1997, lot 224.

Condition:Mounted to laid paper around the reverse of the sheet edges - reverse of original sheet visible. Pale foxing and staining. A tiny re-attached loss at the bottom left edge.
