Charcoal with white highlights on blue paper, indistinctly inscribed upper right. 12 1/2 x 10 (sheet), 25 x 22 1/2 in. (frame). Provenance: Sold Sotheby's, London, January 2001; sold Sotheby's, Amsterdam, November 8, 2000, Lot 154. Note: This work has been previously attributed to Jan Snellinck (1548-1638).

Condition:Sheet hinged to the backmat at the reverse of the sheet corners, reverse of sheet not visible. Small losses at the top left and lower right corners. Scattered tiny holes, splits and tears. Staining showing mostly at top.
