Watercolor and gouache on paper, c. 1788, signed 'Giacomo de Guardi', titled and inscribed 'Veduta della Piazza di s. Marco/Reccapito all' ospedaletto in Calle del Peruchier al No. 5R45' on the reverse. 6 1/8 x 9 5/8 in. (sheet), 10 1/2 x 13 1/2 in. (frame).

Condition:Light - staining with the colors faded -showing mostly in the blue of the sky. Scattered foxmarks. Soft creasing. Pale staining on the reverse. Tapered to the overmat at the top and left sheet edges.
