Charcoal and watercolor with gouache highlights on paper laid down on thick card, c. 1879, with the Atelier G. Doré inkstamp lower right. 20 1/2 x 31 1/2 in. (sheet), 31 1/2 x 42 1/2 in. (frame). Provenance: Sold Sotheby's, NY, Oct. 29, 1987, Lot 26.

Condition:Creasing at the corners, a tiny loss at center. A crease upper right. Otherwise apparently in good condition. Not examined out of frame.
