Marked Heath and Co., Ltd., Crayford, London. The case and instrument inscribed 'D.N.C. Tufnell R.N.', with a certificate of examination from the National Physical Laboratory, Kew Observatory, Richmond, Surrey, 1909.

The instrument 4 1/4 x 8 x 8 1/2 in., the case 5 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 9 3/4 in. 

Condition:

Some age splits to the case, scratches and wear. Encrustation to the brasses. The instrument appears to be in good condition, please inquire for further information.
