Molded and Gilt Copper Prancing Horse Weathervane, A. L. Jewell and Company (active 1852-1865) Waltham, MA
Fitted with a cast zinc head with applied ears above a molded body and grooved tail.
26 x 28 1/4 in., raised on a stand.
Condition:
In good restored condition, seam in the middle of the body (which is a Jewell trait) with minor restoration. Evidence of old bullet holes on the body.
