Pair of George III Carved Giltwood and Tôle Twin-Light Girandoles
38 1/4 x 17 in.
Condition:
Elegant model. One girandole with evidence of restoration to ho ho bird on crest and to bottom of the frame. Lifting and age cracks as well as chips through to the wood. Both have rubbing and nicks to the gilded surface through to the gesso. Some seam separation. Candle wax spill on the tole. Leaves on tole are bent in places.
